Having access to the Beach and open water is a positive when it comes to living in OC, but looking for parking is a pain in the ass. A couple of us originally wanted to fish off the pier, but we opted for the jetty since it was less crowded. We spent an hour and a half failing at catching fish, so we gave up and successfully went crabbing with our fish bait(squid). Being around crustaceans and ocean life made us crave some seafood. Yelp directed us towards Santa Monica Seafood.

Our kick it spot

Joyce is blowing bubbles!

So lonely...

Come hither!

Gotta catch'em all!

Muscles (8/10)

Lobster rolls (9.5/10)... I wouldn't pay $19...
The New England Clam Chowder(not pictured) was pretty darn good. Every bite had at least 2 clams! I would recommend coming here for happy hour: $2 oysters, $5 house chardonnay & pinot grigio and $3 beer specials.
